IPL therapy, or Intense Pulsed Light therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to improve skin tone and texture. It targets various skin concerns, including pigmentation, redness, and sun damage. This treatment is suitable for all skin types and can enhance your overall complexion.

You can expect visible improvements within 3–7 days after your treatment.

Days 1–2: Pigmented spots may appear darker

Days 3–7: Darkened pigment naturally flakes off

By Days 7–10: Skin appears clearer, brighter, and more even

For best results, treatments are typically done every 4 weeks.

  • Recommended: 3 sessions for optimal correction
  • Maintenance: 1–2 times per year to keep results
IPL is safe for many skin types, but it works best on lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III).
IPL is generally well tolerated and feels like a quick snap of heat on the skin, but most clients find it very manageable.
IPL can be used to treat the face, neck, chest (décolleté), hands, and other areas of the body affected by sun damage, redness, or uneven skin tone.
