Following your Morpheus8 face or body treatment, it is normal to experience a warm, sunburn-like sensation in the treated area. This typically lasts up to 24–48 hours as your skin begins its natural healing and collagen-stimulating process.

Avoid heat exposure

Keep your body temperature low for 7–10 days. Avoid saunas, hot tubs, prolonged sun exposure, and tanning beds.

Limit physical activity

Refrain from exercise for the first 24–48 hours. Light activity can be resumed after, but intense workouts should be minimized for up to 7–10 days to reduce irritation and prevent bacteria from affecting the skin.

Keep the area clean & hydrated

Use only gentle cleansers and medical-grade, non-irritating skincare. Keeping the skin well-hydrated will support healing and enhance results.

Expect temporary swelling or bruising

Depending on the intensity of your treatment, mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur and typically resolves within a few days.

Avoid makeup & sunscreen (initially)

Do not apply makeup or sunscreen for the first 24–48 hours post-treatment to allow the skin to properly recover.

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive RF microneedling treatment that is generally well tolerated by most patients. During the procedure, you may feel a mild prickling sensation along with gentle warmth as radiofrequency energy is delivered into the skin. To maximize comfort, a topical medical-grade numbing cream is applied prior to treatment, making the experience smooth and manageable. At ÓRO Medspa in Tampa, our expert providers ensure every Morpheus8 treatment is performed with precision and patient comfort in mind.
It varies depending on the severity of initial cell damage. It is recommended starting out with a series of 3-4 treatments of Morpheus 8 After your 3-4 treatments it is recommended to come back after a year to maintain your results. Results are considered permanent if done in the recommended time frame your provider has suggested but it is inevitable that we collect cell damage due to internal and external factors.
Results are dependent on how many treatments are needed for the severity of initial cell damage. Each treatment helps improve concerns. Over the course of 4-6 weeks after your treatment you will start to see improvement in laxity of the skin, scarring, stretch marks, texture and overall skin health.
